Apply For A Grant
The Junior League of Evanston-North Shore financially supports a variety of non-profit and community agencies throughout the Chicago's North Shore by our Grant Program. Priority will be given to grant proposals that have an impact on the community and target the following Junior League Position Statements:
- Voluntarism
- Children
- Women
- Family Violence
- Senior Citizens
The Junior League of Evanston-North Shore is dedicated to the
utilization of volunteers and submitted proposal applications involving
volunteerism will be reviewed, as well as program expenses. All proposals
should be a request not to exceed $500.00 per agency. Requests for
on-going operating expenses will not be considered. Previous Grant
recipients are not encouraged to re-submit proposals for two years.
Requests will be granted only to non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3)
status or governmental entities that are tax exempt.
Grant
proposals are due by January 15, 2010. Applicants will receive
written notification of acceptance or rejection within eight (8) weeks of
the application deadline. Grant recipients are required to submit a brief
summary of program activities and accomplishments within sixty (60) days
of receipt of the funds. Copies of receipts for any purchases as a result
of funding should be included in the summary.
