Dorothy Coletta – President Elect

Dorothy transferred to the JLE-NS in June of 2010 and served on the Thrift House Committee during the 2010-11 service year. Prior to joining the JLE-NS, Dorothy was a member of the Junior League of Northern Westchester in New York since 2007 and served as their Community Projects Chair-elect, Membership Development Chair, Scholarship Chair, Board of Governors Recording Secretary and NYSPAC representative. 

Chaya Carey - Cookbook Chair 

Chaya joined the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore in 2010.  She served on the Research & PR committee for the Baby Steps project as part of her new member class. In that role, she prepared a resource binder for at-risk moms-to-be attending a Baby Steps baby shower thrown by the League at Evanston Hospital.  As Cookbook Chair, she is looking forward to promoting the League's cookbook It's a Shore Thing and continuing to try out as many recipes as she can.

Katherine Caskey- Nominating & Placement Chair

Katherine joined the Junior League in 2003. She has served as co-chair of Admissions, WOW (Women on their Way), a pilot career training program for high school girls, and Social. Katherine also chaired the Community Research & Development Committee for two years, researching and surveying the membership and the community. Outside of JLE-NS, Katherine is the Development Director for Lexington College, a women's hospitality management college in Chicago. 

Tricia Chookaszian – Internal and External Communications Chair

Tricia joined the Junior League in 2009.  Last year, she was active with the Internal and External Communications committee.  This year, she is acting as Chair of the Internal and External Communications committee.  Tricia is looking forward to continuing the growth of the League’s publicity and exposure.

Cindy Dooley - Sustainer Chair 

As Sustainer Chair, Cindy is looking forward to working with the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore’s large group of Sustainer Members to keep them connected to our great (and busy!) organization.   Cindy has served on many committees since first joining the Junior League in 2002 including planning the first baby shower for at-risk young mothers; serving on the American Girl Fashion Show, Girls On The Run and Nominating committees; acting as co-chair of the Admissions and Social committees and most recently as a New Member Advisor.

Jane Evans – New Member Chair-Elect

Jane joined the Junior League in 2010. She served on the Steering Committee for the New Member community project: Baby Steps, an educational baby shower for low-income moms-to-be. Jane currently serves as New Member Chair-Elect as well as serving on the Nominating and Placement Committee. She is excited to work with the incoming new members this year.

Julie Finerty - Fitting Futures Chair

Julie joined the Junior League in 1999. Julie has been active on various community impact committees including Mentoring USA - Chelsea Elliott - New York, NY, Teen Girls Exodus, Chicago, IL and Pumpkin Patch, Birmingham, MI. Julie transferred to the JLE-NS in 2008 and has been a committee member of Fitting Futures since its inception. Julie is looking forward to heading up another successful Fitting Futures year and Job Readiness Day Event.

Rebecca Garces – Nominating & Placement Chair-Elect

Rebecca has been a member of the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore since 1996 and most recently served on Policy Board as Finance Director. Her leadership experiences include President and President-Elect, Cookbook Chair for two years, Personnel Manager, Finance Director, Red and Black Ball Co-Chair for the League's 85th Anniversary and member of the Nominating Committee.

Melanie Glass – Recording Secretary

Melanie has been an active member of the JLE-NS since 2004.  She has Co-Chaired her New Member class project, served on the Scholarships and Grants and Cookbook committees, as well as acting as Co-Chair of the Admissions and Thrift House committees.  She previously served on Policy Board as Member at Large and as Membership Director.

Jeanni McCormick – Thrift House Chair

Jeanni joined the League in 2001. She was President in 2010-2011 and President Elect in 2009-2010. She has chaired numerous community service and fundraising committees and was the 2006 recipient of the visionary community leadership Founder's Award. This is her third time Chairing Thrift House. She loves that Thrift House is a Fundraiser but also has a Community Service side with its voucher program and is the location of the League’s Fitting Futures project. 

Corey Marchetti – Admissions Co-Chair

Corey joined the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore in 2010. She enjoyed working with the new member class in her first year to plan and host “Baby Steps,” a shower providing education and supplies for moms-to-be. In her new role as Admissions Co-Chair, Corey is thrilled to help recruit the next class of new members and looks forward to helping a new group of women learn about and participate in the JLE-NS.

Catherine O’Donoghue – Member Enrichment Chair

Catherine joined the Junior League in 2010.  She served as Chair on the Baby Steps Day of Committee.  This project provides a baby shower for underprivileged moms who receive clothes, car seats, strollers, and much needed knowledge from guest speakers.  Catherine is looking forward to contributing to the enrichment of each indvidual member through social events and training opportunities as well as continuing the mission of the JLE-NS to develop the potential in women.

Anna Pappas – New Member Chair

Anna joined the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore in 2009. During her New Member year, she was elected by her peers to Chair the Baby Steps community project. Baby Steps provided all the necessary items and educational components for 16 new moms-to-be from the Evanston Child and Adolescent Center to bring their newborns into the world prepared and empowered. Most recently, Anna served as Admissions Co-Chair.

Tracy Reeder - Scholarships and Grants Chair

Tracy joined the Junior League in 2009. She has co-chaired the Fitting Futures committee since its inception in the Fall of 2009, providing local women with business attire for interviewing. With her new role, Tracy is excited to impact other areas of the community through student scholarships, non-profit grants, and a Fall diaper drive for local agencies.

Sara Ridder – Kitchen Tour Chair

Sara joined the Junior League of Saint Paul in 2006 where she served as Membership Director, Chair of the Next-to-New Sale, and was active on community outreach projects. A recent transfer to JLE-NS, Sara is looking forward to chairing the “Designer Kitchens of the North Shore” Tour in its second year.
