Policy Board 
Emily Marshall – President
Emily is excited to be serving as President this year. She started her League career with the Junior League of Indianapolis and transferred to JLE-NS in 2001. Emily has worked on a variety of community outreach and fundraising committees. In addition, she served on JLE-NS' Management Board for three years as Co-Chair of the Spa Day and Chair of the American Girl Fashion Show fundraisers and on JLE-NS' Policy Board for three years as Membership Director, Community Director and President-Elect. She received the Founder's Award in 2008 for her work on the American Girl Fashion Show fundraiser.
Dorothy Coletta - President-Elect
Dorothy transferred to the JLE-NS in June 2010 and served on the Thrift House committee during the 2010-11 League year. Prior to joining the JLE-NS, Dorothy was a member of the Junior League of Northern Westchester in New York since 2007 and served as their Community Projects Chair-elect, Membership Development Chair, Scholarship Chair, Board of Governors Recording Secretary and NYSPAC representative.
Kim Treger - Community Director
Kim has served as a New Member Co-Chair for the last two years as well as serving on the Nominating Committee. One of Kim's favorite opportunities with the Junior League has been the opportunity to get to know so many of the newest faces to the League and to watch how they have put so many of their amazing talents and skills to use serving the North Shore community, and strengthening the Junior League.
Kate Kligora – Finance Director
Kate has been a member of the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore since 2005. She was President in 2009-2010 and President Elect in 2008-2009. She has served as Community Counts Chair, and as the Chair of the League’s new fundraiser “Designer Kitchens of the North Shore,” for which she received the Founder's Award in 2011. Outside of JLE-NS, Kate was a partner at the consulting firm Accenture, where she worked for 20 years.
Deborah Gale - Membership Director
Deborah has been a member of the Junior League since 1998 and is honored to be serving on the Policy Board again, having previously served as Secretary and Parliamentarian. Most recently she served as an Advisor on the Nominating and Placement Committee for JLE-NS as well as for JL of Kane and Dupage Counties, prior to returning to the area. Among other leadership positions held are: Cinderella’s Closet PR Chair, Mentor - New Member Committee, Chair and Chair-Elect (SPAC A & B) of SPAC when the Committee was active, and Asset and Insurance Manager. In addition to serving on numerous community outreach and fundraising committees, she received a Volunteer of Excellence Award for her work with the American Red Cross in NYC during 9/11 responses.
Tammy Mitchell – Member at Large
Tammy joined the Junior League in 1997. She has been active on various committees including Kitchen Tour, benefit balls, and Reading is Fundamental, which provides books and promotes reading in grade schools. Corporate transfers have afforded the opportunity to support Junior League initiatives in several states and Tammy has been active in the Junior Leagues of Madison, WI and Birmingham, MI. In 2009, she transferred to the JLE-NS where she has served on Management Board as Cookbook Chair and is currently serving as Member at Large on Policy Board.
Theresa Gernand - Sustainer Director
Theresa joined JLE-NS in 1998 as a transfer from Pennsylvania. She served as President/President-Elect, Membership Director, Member at Large, Community Director, Placement Chair, Admissions Chair, Community Research and Development Chair, Youth Mentoring Chair, Done-In-A-Day Chair, Cookbook Committee, American Girl Fashion Show Co-Chair, Chair of the Margaret Thatcher Speaking Engagement Cocktail Reception and also worked on the Barbara Bush speaking engagement. She is thrilled to be Sustainer Director and looks forward to reenergizing the spirit of the sustaining membership.
Melanie Glass – Recording Secretary
Melanie has been an active member of the JLE-NS since 2004. She has Co-Chaired her New Member class project, served on the Scholarships and Grants and Cookbook committees, as well as acting as Co-Chair of the Admissions and Thrift House committees. She previously served on Policy Board as Member at Large and Membership Director. She is currently acting Recording Secretary.
Amy Wells – Bylaws Parliamentarian
Amy joined the Junior League in 2001 in Birmingham, Michigan where she served on the Board as Assistant to the President and Recording Secretary and on a number of Committees including Arrangements, New Member Advisor, and the American Girl Fashion Show. Amy is excited to extend her Junior League career as a member of the JLE-NS.
