JLE-NS Poster Contest for Children

The Junior League of Evanston-North Shore announces poster contest for children in the community:

Winnetka, IL, Updated November 19, 2020– Poster contest for children emphasizes the theme of “Community”

The Junior League of Evanston-North Shore (JLE-NS) is kicking off a poster contest with a theme of “Community”.  The contest is open to children between the ages of 5 and 12 who live in North Shore communities.

Entries must be original hand drawn art and can be created from crayon, marker, watercolor, or paint and should be 8.5” x 11” size and should illustrate how the artwork fits with the theme of “Community”.

The deadline for submitting your artwork has been extended to 5:00 pm Central Time on December 7th.

Submissions can be emailed to COMMUNITYJLENS@gmail.com and must include a JPEG image of your original artwork.  Please keep your original artwork; Winners will be required to send in your original artwork.

The top three poster submissions will win a prize:

  1. First place: $200 check to a North Shore non-profit organization of the winner’s choice that supports children, youth, families or advancing employment and $75 gift card to Blick Art Materials
  2. Second place: $50 gift card to Blick Art Materials
  3. Third place: $25 gift card to Blick Art Materials

In addition, the winning posters will be printed and posted throughout the North Shore.  Winners will be announced on December 14th, 2020.
