Allie Paus – President
Allie joined the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore in 2015. Born and raised in the Evanston, she wanted to find a way to give back to the vibrant North Shore community, while sharing her leadership expertise with volunteer leaders. During her new member year, she served as the co-chair of the Baby Steps project, and has also held the role of New Member Co-Chair. Outside of the league, Allie serves as the Vice President of Operations at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. She enjoys cooking and loves spending time outdoors with her family. Allie resides in Evanston with her husband and young son.
Emily Coninx – President-Elect
Emily joined the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore in 2015 and handled Fundraising for the New Member class project, Baby Steps. She had so much fun at the event that she volunteered to serve as the Co-Chair of the New Member Committee for the next two years! In her professional life outside of the League, Emily is the Director at MacMunnis, Inc. which is a lease administration firm based in Evanston. She resides in Libertyville with her husband, Brian, and their golden doodle, Thaylee.
Dina Mead – By-Laws Parliamentarian
Dina is a long time member of the Junior League. She first joined the Junior League of Westchester-on-Hudson, NY in 1985. There she was Membership Development Chair and Provisional Trainer followed by Nominating/Placement Chair. In 1991, Dina moved to Southern California and transferred into the Junior League of Orange County. There she was the Provisional Trainer for a class of 150 new members, followed by the American Girl Fashion Show Chair. In 2005, Dina moved to Wilmette and transferred into the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore. At JLE-NS Dina has Co-Chaired the Admissions Committee, Chaired the Nominating Committee, served as Dues Treasurer, Member-at-Large and Thrift House Chair. Her crowning achievement was to serve as President for the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore 2013-2014. These days Dina remains an active member of JLE-NS but from out of state. She currently lives in Corona del Mar California and is the Nominating & Placement Chair and also the Bylaws Parliamentarian.
Jenn Luczkowiak – Community Director
Jenn joined the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore in 2011. She enjoyed working on the Donations Committee during her first year for the Junior League’s Baby Steps program, which provides a beautiful baby shower with resources, gifts, and educational seminars for mothers in need. Following her new member year Jenn co-chaired the Kitchen Tour while also co-chairing Admissions. She has previously served as Internal/ External Communications Chair, Recruiting Co-Chair and Membership Director.
Dorothy Coletta – Finance Director
Dorothy Coletta started her JL career in 2006 with the Junior League of Northern Westchester, NY. Over the last twelve years she has served in many management and policy board roles, including Board Secretary, NY State Public Affairs Committee (SPAC) Delegate, Scholarship Chair, Membership Development Chair, Thrift House Co-Chair and President of the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore. Dorothy has over 20 years in volunteer board experience including leadership roles for school, civic and service organizations. She also currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for Haven Youth and Family Services in Wilmette, as well as Commissioner for the Morton Grove Park District.
Karen Burchell – Membership Director
Karen joined the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore in 2007 and handled Marketing and PR for her New Member class project, Kids in the Kitchen High Five Health Fair held in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lake County, IL and Oak Terrace Elementary School in Highwood, IL. She was also Co-Chair of the American Girl Fashion Show Fundraiser, as well as Placement and Transfer Chair. Karen has also served on the Nominating and Placement committee during various years and was also the Personnel Director for multiple years. She has also helped with Marketing for the League and served as Member at Large. Her professional background is in Advertising and Marketing, as well as Social Media and Digital Engagement.
Nicole Roberts – Member at Large
Nicole joined the Junior League in 2014. In her new member year, she served as co-chair for the Day of the Shower Committee for the Baby Steps project. She has also served the League as co-chair for the Recruitment Committee.
Jeanni McCormick – Personnel Director
Jeanni has been a member of the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore for 20 years. She has served in many Management and Policy Board roles, including chairing her new member class project, Thrift House Chair, Nominating & Placement Chair, and President of JLE-NS. Although now a Sustainer, Jeanni enjoys staying involved with the League and utilizing her HR skills.

Anna Pappas – Sustainer Director
Anna Pappas is a former President (2015-2016) of the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore and a Sr. Executive at a Fortune 50 Technology company. When Anna isn’t volunteering with the league, she is a hockey mom to her goalie son, an Aviation Mom to her sophomore at WMU and Best Friends with her daughter who is following in her footsteps. Anna loves to golf, boat, travel and is currently learning paddle and getting her yoga certification in her spare time.
Rebecca Garces – Executive Director of the Thrift House Board of Directors
Rebecca Garces is a Past-President (2005-2006) of the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore and has held the position of Executive Director of the Thrift House Board of Directors since 2015. In 1996, she joined the League to spend time with another working mom, since they were only finding time to keep in touch by phone. Since being in the League, she enjoyed working on numerous Holiday Parties for over 700 abused and neglected children in Cook County, Save the Abandoned Babies Campaign, Girls on the Run partnership, and chairing – and being a part of – the Cookbook Committee, publishing “It’s a Shore Thing” in 2006. She has enjoyed these and other leadership and active member roles over the decades. Outside of the League, Rebecca is Head Portfolio Compliance at an asset management firm in Chicago. She enjoys reading, music and entertaining. Rebecca resides in Wilmette with her husband and small dog, Elly, and loves when her two boys visit.
