The Junior League of Evanston-North Shore is pleased to announce that we have awarded $8,000 in Scholarships to four outstanding local High School graduates from the Class of 2022 based on their volunteerism and academic record. The scholarship recipients graduated from Cristo Rey St. Martin High School, Evanston Township High School, Niles West High School and North Chicago High School.

The scholarship winners received $2,000 each to help them with their college expenses and will be attending Emory University in Atlanta, GA majoring in Nursing, Augustana College in Rockford, IL majoring in Art and Graphic Design, University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, IL majoring in Political Science and Pitzer College in Claremont, CA majoring in Environmental Analysis.

The Outstanding Volunteer Community Service Scholarships are awarded by the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore to honor graduating Senior students who exemplify an outstanding volunteer spirit by contributing significantly in the areas of community service and leadership during his or her high school years. Open to applicants who reside in or attend school in cities and towns north of Chicago in Cook or Lake County.

The Junior League of Evanston-North Shore is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
